I did HDTV research for more than 1 yr before I settled for this beautiful quality Samsung LN37B550. Absolutely worth every penny. This TV has the best picture quality stand-alone when compared with other sets. Now you can tell me all about contrast ratios, or viewing modes, or viewing distances, this and that, whatever and whatever, okay. To me, my eyes and ears don't lie. All the TV broadcast programs look absolutely stunning, and my place sounds already like a home theater before any stereo system set up is made. I also hooked up my Core 2 Duo (3 GHz) Dell using this Samsung as my primary monitor. The picture is outstanding. I 100% recommend this set.
